What subs would you recommend for the old skool rockford fosgate 800a2?

The amp is the old skool transana circuitry.
200 x 2 @ 2ohm
400 x 2 @ 4ohm
birth sheet says all channels running on 12.5v
987wms bridged @ 4ohm
currently running a alpine type r @ 2ohm on 1 channel

    I would go with a Dual 2 ohm version sub wired in series to make a 4ohm load which is perfect for the bridged mode on your amp. at 987w RMS you can go with pretty much any DUAL 2 ohm version sub rated up to 1,000w RMS. I would go with a Rockford T2 model i had 2 of those and they are monsters or for price you cant beat kicker L7’s.

    You could also go with a good pair of dual 4’s wired for 4 ohms. A pair of type R’s would work well (swr-1242). Each would get 400-500w rms.
